The dome is 14 inches in diameter.
Why the dome?
The dome represents perfection, completion and energy flow. Its a basic natural form. The dome has been used for centuries in architecture. It symbolizes a perfect ratio of the Earth. Some claim it can improve your well being. Also many Renaissance churches were using domes.
A cardboard dome for self-assembly is based on the assumption that all the main components (arches) have the same radius (equal to the great circle of the sphere). The dome will add an impressive touch to your design.
