Description
This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
Production of the Jagdpanther began in January 1944, and by March 1945, nearly 400 of it had been built. During the latter part of the war, the German Army became wary of magnetic mines, so they started applying Zimmerit non-magnetic coating to many of their tanks and other vehicles starting in August 1943.
This model kit reproduces the Jagdpanther in high detail, including its characteristic sloping armor and staggered road wheels. The on-board tools are molded as separate parts, and photo-etched parts for the engine grille and metal wires for the ropes are included too. Easy-to-assemble belt-type tracks are also included.
