This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
When the Soviets wanted to bring some heavy artillery up to the front lines during WWII, what did they do? Why, they built a huge shed-sized turret, jammed a 152mm Howitzer in it, dropped the whole thing onto the proven KV-1 chassis, and christened it the KV-2! Although the big gun did bring some much-needed firepower to the fight, there was one very serious problem…the turret was so heavy that it could not traverse if the tank was sitting on even the slightest incline. Oh well…!
Trumpeter’s sharp little kit of the big-headed KV-2 features flexible belt tracks and markings for one vehicle. This kit depicts the 1939 first mass-production version.
