The A-222 130mm self-propelled coastal artillery is a coastal defense unit operated by the Russian Navy. The ZIF-94-1, which is a single-barreled AK-130 twin gun, is mounted on the MAZ-543 truck, and has a high degree of maneuverability not typically found in conventional coastal artillery. Development began in 1976 during the Soviet Union era to upgrade the KSM-65 100mm coastal artillery. Although its development was significantly delayed due to financial difficulties, it has been deployed since 2003. The tires of this model kit are made of soft resin for additional realism.
