After the outbreak of WWII, due to problems exposed in battles, the German army requested the development of a tank to assist in infantry assaults. Code vk 18.01 is the original background of the 1 Ausf. F (Pz.Kpfw I Ausf F). This is the latest modifiation of the Pz.Kpfw I with huge differences when compared to the original type. Fortification was a priority, and its weights reached up to 21 tons, with a front armor thickness of 80mm. But all the gain of armor slowed its speed as an infantry support unit. There were 30 constructed in total, and most of them were the improved Late type.

This kit contains parts molded in grey plastic and includes decals and photo-etched parts.
