This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The first Ford factory in Asia was established in Yokohama in 1925. At the time, Japanese automobile production was still in its early stages, making Japan Ford the first mass-production factory in Japan. Though vehicle types were created in Ford’s home country of the USA, those for the Japanese market were produced with right-side steering.

In order to preserve domestic automobile production, the AutomobileManufacturing IndustryLaw was implemented in 1936, and in 1940 the completely foreign entity Japan Ford was seized by the Japanese government and its factory was dismantled. By the time of the seizure, Japan had long been invested in the vehicles produced by Ford.
