Roden brings us a kit that lets you replicate London’s famous Type B double-decker bus, the “Pigeon Loft” in a 1/72 scale! Introduced in 1910, the Pigeon Loftwas in service throughout WWI. At the outbreak of the First World War, buses were requisitioned to provide transport on the battlefields, and the Pigeon Loft was specially modified to transport carrier pigeons. Bird gauges were fitted on both sides of the first floor and could carry between 60 and 75 birds at a time. This kit includes decals, and painting instructions for two different schemes!
