The 7.5cm Leichtes Infanteriegeschutz 18 cannon was the basic German infantry close-support artillery weapon during World War II. It was produced from 1927 to the end of the war. Initially produced cannon were designed to be towed by horses. Later, they started to produce cannon on metal wheels, adapted to mechanical traction. More than 12,000 cannon were produced in total.
