Description
This is a plastic military vehicle model.
The initial KV-I was a nightmare for the German anti-tank and tank gun crews in 1941. Its thick armor easily deflected the German 37mm and 50mm armor-piercing rounds, and its 76mm dual-purpose gun proved extremely dangerous. The Russians then upped the ante even further by creating the KV-II, stuffing a 152mm howitzer in a massive box-like turret, so large and heavy that it couldn’t rotate if the vehicle was on an incline. Oops!
This KV-II Russian heavy tank model is painted in a dark green finish with markings typical of the type. The markings are painted, and it’s moderately weathered; there’s still room of course for skillful modelers to add their own weathering. The tracks feature nicely molded-in sag on the upper run, very evident on the KV-series tanks. Comes mounted on a black plastic base with nameplate.
