This is a plastic military vehicle model.

This series of 1/48 tanks was produced in the early 1970’s as a kit and grew popular among elementary school-aged children who were not rich enough to buy 1/35 motorized or remote controlled tanks. Tamiya has reproduced these nice tanks as finished, painted and marked models — with built-in FA-130 motors, this time!! The endless reel rubber tracks ensure a powerful run. Just insert two 1.5V R6/AA/UM3 batteries (not included) and enjoy. Series No.2 is the M60A1E2 tank, a variation of the M60 equipped with a sophisticated Gun/Missile Launcher System. It was standardized as the M60A2 and deployed in Europe in the mid-1970’s. Its innovative technological concept and design earned her the nickname “Starship”.
