Description
This is a die-cast metal and plastic military vehicle model.
The M4 Sherman tank is a medium tank used by the U.S. Army that was formalized in 1941; mass production began in 1942. It was also deployed to the British Army, and in October 1942, the British Army faced the German Army on the North African front for the first time. Many variations appeared due to numerous updates and improvements based on experienced gained in battle. By the end of the war, the total number of production of each type had risen to nearly 50,000, making it the most-produced tank.
The 37th Tank Squadron of the 4th Armored Division, which was active on the European front during World War II, was one of the units equipped with the Sherman, and the commander’s vehicle gained the nickname of “Thunderbolt.”
This die-cast display model of the M4A3 Sherman tank is of the type equipped with a 76mm gun — the U.S. Army’s main tank during World War II. The turret can swivel, and the shape of the hull is loaded with realistic details such as the weld marks on the armor plate, the bolts, and the details on each hatch. This model reproduces the coloring on Thunderbolt IV, the vehicle of Clayton Abrams, the commander of the 37th Tank Squadron of the 4th Armored Division of the U.S. Army, as seen in Bastogne in October 1944. A display base is included. Order yours today!
