This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The YPR765A1 traces its origins back to a failed US Army infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) trial in 1965. From that failure, the company FMC continued development of the vehicle as a private venture, eventually securing orders from the Dutch Army for 880 vehicles in 1973, with them entering service in 1977. Constant upgrades over the years have kept these vehicles in the operational inventory ever since.

AFV Club’s YPR765A1 PRI SFOR version is sharply molded in olive drab styrene, and features all new tooling for the storage rack system and jerry cans, a positional cover plate for the 25mm gun ejection port, and optional parts to build either an early- or late-type vehicle. Includes nylon mesh for the storage racks, a fret of photo-etched metal detail parts, and markings for five different vehicles.
