This is a resin-cast figure or figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display.
This figure set combines two figures: “Takeru”, a tank commander of a tank unit active in the Pacific War, and “Takeshi”, a straddling soldier with a short machine gun.
The term “kojo” refers to when infantrymen straddle tanks to move around or participate in combat.
In the Pacific War, the Japanese Army carried soldiers on tanks as straddlers.
In addition, these tank straddlers were used to quickly sweep up enemy soldiers after breaking through enemy lines.
This figure set can be combined with 1/35 scale Type 95 light tanks from various model companies to recreate the scene of straddling a tank.
