This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
Among the German tanks of World War II, the Tiger I overwhelmed Allied forces with its sheer power. Deployed in each heavy tank battalion, it demonstrated its strength in battles on each front, from the North African Campaign to the Italian and Eastern Fronts. It was also part of the Battle of Kharkov, one of the most fierce battles between Germany and the Soviet Union; in 1943, the Elite Division, Das Reich Division, LAH Division, Totenkopf Division, etc. of the German Armored Division were deployed to Kharkov. The Tiger I used in this battle was an early production type with a cylindrical cupola and a rear air filter produced in July 1942. Many improvements were made after that, and it performed well until the end of the war.
This model kit from Dragon reproduces the early Tiger I deployed to the German Armored Division’s Elite Division, Gross Deutschland Division, Das Reich Division and more in the Battle of Kharkov in 1943. The expertise and advice of David Byrden, a chief researcher of the Tiger I, was used to make this model kit as accurate as possible, down to the divisions marking and camouflage schemes. Magic Tracks are included for ease of assembly. Place your order today!
