Description
This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The Jagdpanzer IV is one of the fixed turret-type combat vehicles developed by the German Army in World War II, developed as a successor to the Sturmgeschutz III. The prototype vehicle was completed in October 1943, and mass production began in January 1944. The chassis based on the Panzer IV features inclined armor for the lower front of the hull, and a fixed battle room with a low silhouette and a 48-caliber 7.5cm Pazk39 L/48 were installed. The L/48 deployed to the Hermann Goering Division on the Italian Front in 1944 made its debut there. After that, the Lang with a 70-caliber 7.5cm L/70 with the same long barrel as the main gun on the Panther tank was used. Production continued until the end of the war, and they fought hard against the powerful tanks used by the Allies.
This kit from Dragon reproduces the early model of the Jagdpanzer IV, equipped with a 48-caliber 7.5cm gun, produced in July 1944. Its low, straight, sharp style and short gun barrel are fully modeled; the Magic Tracks make assembly easier and enhance the final result. Parts for the gun mount and recoil device are also included; the hull is covered with Zimmerit coating as a countermeasure against magnetic land mines. The upper part of the battle room is delicately detailed, and the lower hull and the gun mount are realistic. The amored skirt attached to the sides are also included. This kit is a must-have for military modelers — place your order today!
- [Size]: Approximately 19.5cm long when completed
