From the Accurate Armour website:
The AEC armoured car Mk-II/III was developed from the earlier Mk-I model. The Mk-II started to appear from 1943, and had an improved hull, new engine and a new turret mounting the 6 Pr. (57mm) gun. Despite a weight of 13 tonnes, top speed was around 42 m.p.h.
Many of these served in Italy. The later Mk-III, which was the most numerous mark of AEC, mounted the standard 75mm tank gun, and was used as a heavy support vehicle in Armoured Car Regiments in N.W. Europe from D-Day onwards. AECs also served in the Yugoslavian Militia under General Tito, and many remained in service with the British Army until 1953.
This 1/35th scale model comes complete with optional parts for both marks, a photo-etched metal detail set, and stowage.
