Description
This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The Panzer IV tank gained the trust of German soldiers in World War II. It was initially planned to be used for infantry support, but it played an active role as a main tank throughout the war due to its size and its ability to be modified according to the situation. Many types of the Panzer IV were made during its long production period; the F2 type was the first to be equipped with a long gun. Its main gun was a 43-caliber 75mm KwK40L/43 tank gun. It responded to the front line’s request for high offensive power against the Soviet T-34 and KV-I, which were seen in the German-Soviet war. The body uses the F type that was produced since 1941, with added armor thickness. 175 of this tank were produced from March to July of 1942; it was also used on the North African Front, demonstrating its high anti-tank attack power. After that, the name was changed to G type, and more of this vehicle were produced as one of the main tanks of the German Army.
This model kit from Dragon is a Smart Kit with a structure that reduces the number of parts for easy assembly. The style of the F2 tank, the first long-gun body-mounted type, is realistically reproduced, with the lower part of the hull slide-molded for accuracy; the details of the hatch and bolts on the underside of the hull are expressed in high detail. The realistic suspension, including the final drive housing, idler wheel, and more is enhanced by using Magic Tracks for ease of assembly. The upper part of the hull has side fenders, engine deck grille, and more as separate parts for a sharp finish. In-vehicle tools also enhance the sense of realism; the turret is made with a three-way slide mold. Aluminum gun parts are also included as bonus parts! Order yours today!
