This is a set of injection-plastic accessories for detailing AFV kits.

During World War II, bridges over rivers were often destroyed on the battlefield in order to block enemy advances. The advancing side would be forced to build a simple bridge over the river where the existing bridge was destroyed. Each country organized an engineering unit to deal with such situations. Additional, various methods were devised to construct temporary bridges over rivers, and they continued to develop throughout the war.

This model kit from Dragon reproduces a temporary bridge installed by the German Army during World War II. This version is a pontoon bridge type that connects a series of rubber boats with boards. The set includes four rubber boats and two temporary bridges to place on top of them. Details such as the shape of the rubber boats and the ropes are reproduced with great detail for a realistic feel. The woodgrain of the temporary bridge parts is also clearly expressed. Figures of 13 German soldiers crossing the bridge are also included — four infantry and nine engineers. Five types of engineer arm parts are added as bonus parts so you can select and assemble the poses you want. Gen2 parts with realistic finishes are available for the solders’ equipment such as binoculars, gas mask cases, bayonets, haversacks, and magazine pouches. Order yours today!
