This is a resin-cast field gun model kit.

TheXM177E1 was made for the crews of helicopters and armored vehicles by shortening the overall length of the M16 assault rifle adopted by the U.S. Army. By shortening its total length, it became easier to handle, and it was also useful for the U.S. Special Forces in close combat in jungles choked with vegetation. This model kit from Bravo 6 reproduces this important weapon in high detail, with photo-etched parts for the sling and bayonet.
