New from SKIF, the T-64B Soviet Main Battle Tank in 1/35 scale! After the introduction of the T-64 in the early 1960’s, the search was started for a more powerful engine as well as a more streamlined fire control for combat efficiency. The design teams used to prototype tanks, the Obyekt 476 and Obyekt 447 to serve as the basis of the needed upgrades. The final design named T-64B, had the same 6TD 1000 hp turbo-piston engine as the T-80UD and a new D-81Tm gun with ballistics calculator, sight with laser telemetry, and cross-wind sensors. Production of this model ended in 1987 with almost 13,000 units being made.
