This model kit from Zvezda is a new mold! The T-62 tank was developed as a successor to the widely used T-55, and was commissioned by the Soviet Army in 1961. It was equipped with a 115mm gliding gun with a rate of fire of four shots per minute. By 1975, about 20,000 of this tank had been produced, and they had taken part in many conflicts such as Afghanistan, the Yom Kippur War, the Gulf War, Syria and Libya.
