This is an injection-plastic military vehicle kit with some white metal parts.

This is a special set brought out by Tamiya in collaboration with Friulmodel of Hungary. Friulmodel is a specialized manufacturer of 1/35 scale tank track links made of cast white-metal. Their high quality is well known and welcomed by modelers who like the natural gravity hang of the tracks. Tamiya’s T-55A (TAM35257) is a smash hit model showing the state-of -the-art of design and molding technology by Tamiya — the world’s top plastic kit manufacturer. Drilling work is required with a 0.5mm drill bit. Also, cutting will be necessary on the metal rod to prepare the track connecting pins. Tools for both works are not included. Thus this set is recommended for serious modelers with a great deal of experience in modelling.
