This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The French Somua S35 was the most modern and powerful tank at the time of the German invasion in 1940. Unfortunately, it had an inherent defect, as did other French tanks; the one-man turret greatly compromised its combat capability, and the tank was exhausted and battered in the face of the superior German Blitzkrieg. After the fall of France, German obtained captured tanks from Russia and France till the end of the war. Though this kit was originally tooled and produced in the 1970’s, it is nevertheless detailed very well. Decals for German Army and the original French Army markings are provided; the original two French Army figures are included, as well. Tracks are the rubber band type.
