This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The German military experienced great trouble with the shortage of anti-tank mobile forces needed to counter the tank threat brought by the Russian army. The RSO Self-Propelled Gun provided a solution, combining existing equipment inventories to make one stop-gap weapon. Italeri has developed this kit with the same idea, using the tooling from their old RSO tractor, and that of their 7.5cm Pak40 Anti-tank gun. But do not worry — the parts re-used from old kits are actually in the minority in this kit! The gun platform and the driver’s compartment are from new tooling and very sharp. The tracks are of the rubber band type. No figure is included. The actual deployment of this SPG remains in question, but no-one can confirm or deny its deployment as it was not developed until the closing days of The Third Reich.
