This is a plastic military vehicle model.

This series is Tamiya’ s answer to the recent trends in the market toward finished models. Basically, these tank models are made from the plastic parts which made up Tamiya’s original MM series kits. But they didn’t just use these parts; Tamiya added some special features to the model. A lathed aluminum barrel, cast metal tracks and photo-etched mesh parts for engine grilles enhance the authenticity and reality of the finished models. Painting and markings are beautifully done, of course; a light weathering finish is also applied to the models. Series #3 represents the German Panther G late production model belonging to Army 116. Pz.Div., which started its battle history on the Western Front after the Normandy Landings in June 1944, and ended in homeland battles in Germany.
