This is a resin-cast figure or figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display.
This figure is a reproduction of a soldier of the U.S. Special Mission Force “Delta Force”, a UN peacekeeping force in the Somali civil war in Africa, which was made famous by the movie “Black Hawk Down”, and the “Battle of Mogadishu”, a fierce battle with Somali militias in 1993.
He is posed facing forward, holding an M14 with a datacight in an alert posture.
The helmet, goggles, body armor, belt kit, kneepads, and other equipment that Delta Force soldiers were equipped with at the time are of course also included.
