The Type 10 Main Battle Tank is a “fourth generation” MBT adopted by the Japan Ground Self Defense Force as its new main battle tank in 2010, hence the designation “Type 10.” With its powerful 120mm smoothbore cannon, it packs the same wallop as the previous Type 90 MBT, but in a smaller, lighter, and higher-tech package. More punch per pound! Or per kilo, depending on your preferred system of weights and measures.
