The German Panzer IV chassis saw many modifications and conversions throughout its service in WWII, and here’s one of the more successful: the Jagdpanzer IV L/70(V) Lang tank destroyer. With its potent 75mm L/70 gun mounted in a turret-less superstructure, it presented a low silhouette, allowing the Jagdpanzer to wait stealthily for unsuspecting prey to happen by, then pouncing with the big gun.
