This is a set of photo-etched metal hexagonal bolts, as illustrated below. A million and one uses! The especially cool thing about this PE set is that the parts are not connected to the fret at all, so there’s no clean-up needed–just peel the parts from the adhesive backing, and you’re ready to go!
