The DUKW is an amphibious vehicle developed in the United States.
The engine and drive components of the DUKW share similarities with the CCKW 353 truck, featuring a boat-shaped body with a 3-axle, 6-wheel configuration, and a screw propeller at the rear for navigation in water.
The DUKW saw action during the Normandy landings and was also used in the Pacific Theater.

This kit replicates the version equipped with a 105mm howitzer mounted on the cargo bed.
