This is a resin-cast figure or figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display.
Obviously the battle is not going well from the faces of the crew. The expressions are perfect and tell the story.
Sculptor Yoshitaka Hirano has a great talent in finding the subtle details. Each character is unique and the expression and pose convey a lot. He isn’t afraid to have a figure in uniform who is a bit out of shape with the beer belly. Faces, uniforms, everything is perfectly rendered. There are few sets as well done as this one.
