First entered into service in 1960, the D-30 is a towed field gun capable of firing up to 15.4 kilometers with standard shells, and 21 kilometers using Rocket Assisted Projectiles (RAP). Unlike traditional towed field howitzers with two deployable legs, this Gun uses a three-leg mounting system for a full 360 degrees of horizontal gun traverse. This kit includes photo-etched parts, two rubber tires, and a decal markings sheet.
