This is a resin-cast figure or figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display.
Father with grandmother and his daughter. The young girl is holding onto her teddy-bear and seems a bit oblivious to the “adventure” her family is on. The expressions and postures on the adults are perfect and tell the story.
Sculptor Yoshitaka Hirano has a great talent in finding the subtle details. Each character is unique and the expression and pose convey a lot. He isn’t afraid to have a figure in uniform who is a bit out of shape with the beer belly. Faces, uniforms, everything is perfectly rendered. There are few sets as well done as this one.
