This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
Dragon has done what the Germans did over 60 years ago: They’ve taken their fine Panther medium tank and turned it into one of the best tank destroyer designs of WWII, the Jagdpanther (“Hunting Panther”). Dragon’s early version of the Jagdpanther features parts from earlier Panther releases plus tons of all newly-tooled parts to accurately re-create the tank destroyer. Tracks are provided as “Magic Track” injection-molded indy links with accurate guide horn detail. The lower hull is an all-new tooling, the sponson floor has updated detail, and the barrel is a one-piece plastic part with a multi-piece plastic muzzle brake. Suspension can be assembled to follow uneven terrain. Includes a fret of photo-etched parts for the engine deck grills and other details. Decals by Cartograf to model two vehicles. A “Smart Kit,” designed by Dragon to offer the most detail with the least hassle. That means fewer parts, with extra detail being provided via the use of advanced slide-mold technology.
