This is an injection-plastic field gun model kit.
Dragon’s release of the venerable US M2A1 105mm Howitzer is a “Smart Kit,” designed to give modelers the most detail with the least hassle. Slide mold technology allows the gun recoil system, gun breech, and other areas to be molded in amazing detail. The gun can elevate and depress, and either travel or fire mode can be selected for assembly. The main gun is provided as an aluminum barrel, complete with accurate rifling. The similarly named M2A1 gun carriage also features excellent detail all around. Four US Airborne crew figures are also included. A nice piece of Allied artillery!
