This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The Leopard 2, the main battle tank representing the modern German Army, has been in service since 1979, replacing the Leopard 1. The main gun has been upgraded from the previous 105mm gun to a powerful 120mm smoothbore gun. The turret design changed from the vertical front on early production models up to the A4 to the wedge-shaped additional armor from the A5 onwards.
The Leopard 2A6 upgrades the A5’s 44-caliber 120mm smoothbore gun to a longer 55-caliber 120mm smoothbore gun, extending its range and enhancing its firepower.
