This is a die-cast metal and plastic military vehicle model.
Motorcycles with sidecars were introduced as an instant stopgap to provide mobility to the infantry in the early 1930’s. It could be obtained relatively at low cost compared to 4-wheeled cars. But the German Army was not satisfied with civilian motorcycles converted for military use. They needed more powerful, stout, heavy off-road military motorcycles, despite the greater expense. The result was the Zundapp KS750 and the BMW R75. The KS750 features rear-wheel drive with lockable differential gear, strong transmission with reverse gear, hydraulic brakes and a drive shaft power train. This 1/10 scale metal model reproduces all the mechanical parts beautifully; cables and piping works are also done. It’s so real, it seems as if it might actually be able to run! The model is painted in late war three-color camouflage scheme and all the caution and tactical markings and Luftwaffe (German Air Force) insignia have been applied. Moreover, two riding figures (driver and passenger) in gray coats are provided. Those figures enhance the semblance of the motorcycle actually being in the battlefield.
