This is a resin 1/10 scale bust figure replicating Princess Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth II) serving as a Second Subaltern in the Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS) of the British Army during World War II.

Joining the ATS in February 1945 at the age of 18, Princess Elizabeth broke convention by receiving the same training and treatment as regular soldiers. As a Second Subaltern, she was tasked with vehicle maintenance and ammunition management.

The rank of Second Subaltern in the ATS is equivalent to a Second Lieutenant in the Army.
