The Br-5 280mm mortar (M1938) is a mortar developed in the Soviet Union during World War II. Its tracked gun mount and cradle are the same as on the Br-2 152mm cannon and B-4 203mm howitzer. Since there is no self-propelling function, when moving, a gun carriage with one axle and two wheels is attached to the gun mount and towed by a gun tractor.
