Description
This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
Production of the Clarktor 6 began in 1942 and continued until 1966. Between 1941 and 1945, Clarktor produced nearly 90 percent of the military fork lifts and towing tractors. During World War II, there was no airfield without Clarktor towing tractors deployed by the Allied forces. The Clarktor 6 featured a 62hp water-cooled Chrysler 6-cylinder 230-cid flathead gasoline engine, equipped with a 3-speed gearbox with a top speed of 24 km/h. Production started in 1942, and by the end of the war, Clark had delivered over 1,500 Clarktor 6s for the British Royal Air Force. These were produced as a version called ‘British Heavy’ abbreviated as ‘BH’ and supplied to the RAF under the Lend-Lease Act. The Mill-33 is a lightweight version of the tugboat capable of handling any type of bomb trailer and aircraft, including heavy bombers operated by the USAAF and RAF, with a towing capacity exceeding 2 tons.
