Description
This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
After the fall of France, the German Army obtained many French tanks. These soon became obsolete and unsuitable for the regular tank units. So the German Army in France decided to convert these tanks to self-propelled guns with anti-tank guns and howitzers. This was a good supplement for the German Army in the west, because they were given the low priority to receive new German-made equipment. The 38(H) artillery observation vehicle is one of such conversions. It equipped with scissors telescope and artillery redio on the French Hotchkiss H39 chassis and accompanied to the battery of 10.5cm SPG on the same chassis (PITG-07). Moldings are good (new tooling by Trumpeter) but only to the standards of the 1980’s. The fighting compartments is molded in one piece. A set of national insignia decals and two figures are included.
