The King Tiger is a heavy tank introduced by Germany at the end of World War II. Developed as an evolution of the Tiger I, it has the firepower of an 8.8cm tank gun and heavy front armor capable of withstanding Allied vehicle attacks; it became known as the King Tiger. This model kit is a precise and accurate reproduction of the ninth King Tiger produced, which was the very early production version using the Porsche-type turret designed by Krupp. Its new Gg24/800/300 type tracks are connected and assembled; photo-etched parts are also included.
