This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The 150mm-packing Hummel was one of the German army’s more successful attempts at mounting a big gun on an obsolete chassis. This is the later version, with a larger fighting compartment.
This is another great Dragon/Cyber Hobby “Smart Kit,” designed to offer the most detail with the least hassle. That means as much detail as possible has been molded into the parts, keeping the overall parts count down. This kit features a ton of newly tooled parts to create the definitive model of the Hummel. The initial 2008 release of this kit included newly tooled Magic Track links, but the current release has DS tracks; also includes an aluminum main gun barrel with working recoil mechanisms, photo-etched metal detail parts, and decals by Cartograf for seven versions. Nice Hummel!
