This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The 10.5cm assault howitzer 42 (StuH 42) is a vehicle in which the main gun of the No. III assault gun is replaced with a 10.5cm howitzer for anti-pillbox attacks. The number is Sd.Kfz.142/2. The early model was equipped with a muzzle brake, but it was not installed since the production model at the end of 1944.

This model kit from Takom can be built as the 10.5cm assault grenade 42, or the III assault gun G-type early type. The main hatch can be built opened or closed; the tracks are link-and-length type.
