This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

Introduced in 1961 as a replacement for the T-55, the 45-ton Soviet MBT (Main Battle Tank) T-62 featured many improvements, including a much more powerful 115mm main gun. The type is well known for its participation in the Yom Kippur War of 1973. Although production ceased in 1975, there are still many T-62s in service with various nations around the world.

Trumpeter’s Soviet MBT T-62 Model 1972 kit features photo-etched metal detail parts, choice of plastic or metal main gun barrel, non-workable indy link tracks, separately molded wheels and tires, and two marking variations.
