This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The K2/Y is a military ambulance based on the K30 civilian light truck used by the British Army during World War II.

Developed by the Royal Army Medical Corps, the rear body could seat 10 wounded and transport four stretchers simultaneously.

13,102 K2/Y military ambulances were produced from 1940 to the end of the war, and were nicknamed “Katy” after the chassis model number, K2 (KTwo), not only by the British Army but also by the US Army, which received this vehicle under the reverse lend-lease method.

Queen Elizabeth (Princess at the time of the Great War) served in the Auxiliary Provincial Volunteer Force during World War II as an Associate Captain under the name “Elizabeth Windsor,” where she was engaged in maintenance of military vehicles and ammunition management, and also drove a military ambulance when she obtained her license for large vehicles.

The kit comes with etchings, decals, and one figure.
