Description
This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
Among the German tanks of World War II, the Panzer IV series can be said to be the main battle tank that was active throughout the war. It was planned as a support tank, and thanks to its relatively spacious body design, it was able to be upgraded in various ways. The first mass-produced type among the many types of Panzer IV is the D type. Over 200 of this version were produced from October 1939 to May 1941. The body and turret have a linear design, and its main gun was a short-barreled 7.5cm tank gun (KwK37/L24). It was also characterized by an increased armor thickness on the sides and rear of the hull. Starting with the invasion of France, it was active on a wide range of fronts, including the North African and Eastern Fronts. In the German Africa Corps, the 4th and 8th companies of the 5th Armored Regiment used tanks equipped with tropical specifications on the African front.
This model kit from AK Interactive uses body parts by Dragon to duplicate the tropical specifications used by the German Africa Corps and DAK on the North African front in 1941. The powerful form equipped with a short barrel is reproduced down to the smallest detail, as is the chassis. The suspension consists of multiple parts; the rubber part of the road wheel is a separate part, and the tracks are an assembly type for a realistic finish. The engine deck hatch reproduces the DAK specification parts, and can be assembled opened or closed. The turret is an integrally slide-molded part for accuracy; each hatch can be assembled opened or closed. Photo-etched parts are included for in-vehicle tools, smoke grenade racks, fenders and more; decals for eight versions are included. Order yours today!
