A new Chinese armor modeling company makes an appearance! The first kit to be released by Gecko Models is this wonderfully detailed model of the WWII British Cruiser Tank Mk.IIA (A10)!
Although classified as a Cruiser tank, the MK II was a bit heavy for the role and thus considered more as a heavy cruiser. With only 175 of these tanks manufactured during the war, they didn’t make a huge impact. They saw limited service in the opening days of the war in France, where they were found to have poor cross-country performance. They did, however, fare better in the North African campaign.
