This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
When the German army needed to move a tank cross-country, the 18-ton heavy half track “Famo” Sd.Kfz. 9 with tank transporter Sd.Ah. 116 was called upon to do the job. This powerful combo could haul tanks in the 22-24 ton range, inluding Panzer IIIs and IVs.
Trumpeter’s combo half track and trailer set is molded in sharp gray plastic, with rubber tires and one-piece flexible vinyl belt tracks. Multi-piece individual track links are also included for those inclined to deal with a bazillion teeny tiny parts! The end result looks fantastic, though. Includes a length of metal chain and twine. Markings are for one vehicle. A very welcome addition to any 1/72 armor collection!
