The AML armored vehicle is a four-wheeled armored reconnaissance vehicle designed in Panhard, France. The differences in type are basically only in the armament — the composition of the car body, with the pilot in front, the commander and gunner in the turret, raising and lowering doors on left and right and engine in the rear, is common. The AML armored car was officially adopted by the French Army, and it was a great success, with more than 4,000 being sent to more than 30 countries for export. In addition, 1,300 of this vehicle were licensed as the Eland 60/90 in South Africa.
This injection-plastic model kit from Ace comes with photo-etched parts and soft resin tires; you can choose from three types of turret armament (AML-60-7 with 60mm mortar and two machine guns, AML-60-12 with 60mm mortar and one machine gun, or Brandt 60mm LR gun, motor-equipped).
